    For the Love of Vintage

    First things First.

I'd like to THANK YOU so much for visiting my website. It's been years in the making and hopefully conveys my love of all things historic...and my attempt to share as well as preserve as much as I can.

Vintage means different things to different people.

Your age will determine what YOU consider vintage. I've had young people refer to things my age as "antique". Not sure whether to laugh or be depressed.

But if you dare to explore, you could easily find an era, a past style, music, or toys that inspire you to incorporate a little history into your modern day life.

I can ignite a passion! Take the journey and find your new obsession.

  • Books, Sheet Music, Literature

This is where I scan entire books, rare literature, vintage needlework books, and sheet music.

  • Modern Products with Vintage Theme

This is where I utilize my lifetime collection of vintage to create fun and useful things.

Our country is so young compared to others. Culture, Fashion, and Travel has changed so much. I love print...and especially print that is relative to the era. I have hundreds of vintage postcards! The way people traveled and the things they wanted to experience during vacation has changed so much over the years. My etiquette books from different decades illustrate how our culture has changed.

I found a site that allows me to take these unique pieces of history and incorporate them into products that we can use in our daily lives. Posters of places that no longer exist, but were once premier vacation destinations. Architecture. Music. And even postagmarks from cities that no longer exist (absorbed by bigger cities).

You could spend hours just browsing all the products! I'm sure you'll find something that captures your imagination.

If there is a specific decade, product you love that's been around for centuries, or type of history that intrigues you, feel free to reach out! I can custom design something just for you. Uniquely You.

    Designing

    Things you can use

My inspiration begins when I hold history in my hand, then envision incorporating into products that can be used in your modern daily life. My hope is to keep some of this history alive and appreciated by generations in the future

    Vintage Variety

    Product selection growing daily

I attempt to add new products frequently as time permits. I still work a full time job, so this "passion for history" must be pursued only before and after work. Because it's a labor of love and something I'm passionate about, the time spent is enjoyable.

    True History

    Product selection growing

My collection of vintage postcards, scrapbooks, books, greeting cards, photograph slides, old home movies, magazines, sheet music, and newspapers is obscene. It is fun curating this site because I get to read and enjoy the history as I'm scanning. The challenge is determining what YOU want to see.

  • Antique Mall

Because I still work full time at a manufacturing plant, I don't have time to pursue setting up a beautiful booth in a real antique mall. So this is my tiny booth in the world's largest antique mall. I know it's a virtual mall, and you can't physically travel to and touch the beautiful historic treasures, but it's the best I can do right now. This is where you will find actual physical products from 40+ years of collecting.

I consider what I do is "saving history". Often, the things that some view as hideous or worthless are actually the things that are worth saving. Remember, the value of something is entirely based on supply and demand. As more and more of these treasures end up in the landfill, they are gone forever. I have a bad habit of paying people for what they (and others) consider trash.

Although I've enjoyed these treasures during my lifetime, it's time now to pass to others. I have an eclectic collection! Sometimes I've purchased something that I don't even know what it is. I spend countless hours doing research to find out how it was used. Because my finds have varied so much over the years, they tend to cycle in and out of display in my home.

Each of us will get old and my children are not fond of the idea that they will "inherit" my hot mess. So I've agreed to part with as much as I can bear to sell. I know I am getting things into the hands of someone that will appreciate as I have.

And not to sound like a broken record, but if there is something in particular you'd like to see, just let me know. I have collected so much over the years, there's a good chance I have something you'd be interested in.

    Antiques and Collectibles

    Nostalgia or New Interest

You might just find something that you didn't know you couldn't live without. Frequently, common items are found here, but on occasion you will see a highly rare historic item (until it gets purchased). I don't spam your inbox with newsletters, so it's a good idea to just favorite my store on ebay and you will notified when I create new listings.
